Oct. 4th Google Event Highlights! PIxel 2 | pixelbook | Google Home mini and much more!

Google event Oct. 4th:

There were a lot of announcements made my Google on Oct. 4th 9 am PDT. There was a lot of hype among tech. enthusiasts regarding the new product announcements and updates.
We get to see whole new range of products made by google along with most awaited 2nd generation of the Pixel line up.

Here are some of my views and highlights on the event:

Pixel 2 | Pixel 2 XL:

It’s turns out that most of the leaks mentioned about this phone everywhere else and on my blog were actually quite true! There are 2 pixel phones this year that is Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. Pixel 2 is smaller in size than that of Pixel 2 XL but google says that both are pretty much packed with the same features.

Pixel 2

The pixel 2 come in three colors, white clearly white, just black and kinda blue. The pixel phone depicted in the picture above is of the “kinda blue” color. By the names of the colors of these phones, I can tell that Google has a pretty good sense of humor! As for the specs, I say that this is arguably the best android flagship out there. But sadly, there is no headphone jack!

Here’s the introduction video:

Google Pixel Book Pen:

Google announces its PixelBook Pen which take use of the advantage of the new touch screen of the pixelbook. It works with the google assistant and it only has 10ms of lag which is pretty negligible.
Unfortunately it runs on replaceable AAAA batteries.
Its gonna be for $99/- roughly INR 6449/-

Google pixel buds:

As Apple has its Airpods, in a similar way google implemented its Google pixel buds. They are high quality ear buds with google assistant built in. So, with certain gestures you can access google assistant with the need of your android phone in the same way as siri, on airpods. I think its an awesome idea of such a rapid connection to the assistant for quick search results.

Another awesome thing about these buds is they can translate language in real time. How cool is that?! I think its gonna prove useful to many people around the world.

Say hi to Google Home Mini:

Google introduced its new google home mini. Its part of the range of google home accessories. Basically it sits somewhere in your house and control the house gadgets on your command. It has google assistant built in so, it can also answer your queries real fast.
It activates upon touch and has very clear sounding speaker.
It starts at just $49/- roughly INR 3192/-
Here’s the video:

Google Home Max :

It’s basically like a big bro for the google mini except it has high quality woofers built in which have quite a bit of bass. So, you can use it to stream your music too. It’s awesome!
It comes in three colors charcoal and chalk.
Starting at $399/- roughly INR 25993/-
Here’s the video :

Google Clips:

Sure, your new Pixel 2 will shoot stunning photos, but the camera’s only as good as the shots you manage to take. For all the rest, Google introduced a different kind of camera called Google Clips.
The palm-sized device takes photos for you, using AI to find the candid moments you might want to capture—like that shot of your dog balancing a treat on his nose, or your toddler taking her first steps.
Capture those moments as stills, videos, or GIFs, then export them to your phone over Wi-Fi.
Its starting at $249/- roughly INR 16221/-

Daydream View VR. Headset :

Now, by Google launching a second-generation headset, Google’s setting its sights a little wider. The new hardware comes with a wider field of view and a better overall viewing experience, and the face mask that feels more secure.
There’s new content coming to Daydream, too, including a new original YouTube series in VR, adding to the 250 VR titles Google already offers.
It’s starting at $99/- roughly INR 6,449/-

To summarize:

Google had launched a whole lot of new products which are best in what they do. Most of the people including me were excited only about the new pixels. And sure enough the pixels lived upto my expectations but I really liked the concept of other accessories and products. All in all it was a great event giving us updates in the tech. market.
The prices mentioned above in INR are NOT  meant to be tajen seriously. I just gave it to get a basic idea.
